I think it’s more likely West moving to East (pac12 to Big 12).

Could go the other way too. How valuable really is the PAC (10) without USC and UCLA? I could see the Big12 getting aggressive to try to add some combination of the easternmost PAC schools (Colorado, Arizona, Arizona St, Utah).

P12 takes 6 (Kansas, Iowa State, etc.); B12 backfills with SMU, Boise State, SDSU, AF, CSU, and maybe Memphis/ECU.

I you didn’t believe that 30-50 name brand schools would merge into 2 major conferences…anchored by the SEC and Big 10…believe it now. UCLA and USC going to the Big 10 is huge evidence. There will be major realignment downstream when it’s completed, if not before.

All the mid-tier P5s / AAC playing musical chairs just to get back in the same positions with the same partners.

So either UH goes to the PAC-12 or the Big 12 poaches. Either way I like the position we are in.

Hopping the Big 12 poaches the PAC-12. Having Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah would be pretty huge.

If the reports of "USC and UCLA to the Big Ten" are accurate, I can't see this being a "two team move." I think the B10 goes for FOUR and brings Oregon and Washington along for the "West Coast" sweep. That leaves the PAC effectively gutted.

And it could explain why the MW didn't expand in the last round...

Wow if this does happen it basically signals that the PAC revenue wasn’t going to be that good. That’s also not a good sign for the Big12.

The question will be if it does happen are they taking anyone else with them.

i would think B-10 takes 6 and puts 4 5 schools pods together
USC, UCLA, Stanford, Org, Wash [Colo]
