Somewhere around 15 or 16 is what I would guess. He’s not gonna put up Antoine Davis numbers unless he’s taking 30 shots a game, which I don’t anticipate at all. Expect we will see an uptick in efficiency from his Memphis days. I think he’s a bit underrated as a passer (even though Penny tried and failed to make him a point guard for a whatever reason), and he and Noah will go back and forth with whoever is having the better game.

Agree. The big thing for he and Noah is that neither has to be a one-man show.

I want to see if we can play Braun's "Fast Break" basketball. With Noah and Emoni we have the athletes who can make the offense move.

Should be interesting to see how much our team scoring goes up next season.

Who is the third? Legend? Billingsley? Golson? Acuff? Joey Zaher?

My dark horse: Kevin Rice. He will give Emoni and Noah some spacing.

Emoni Bates only played in only 16 games and 6 conference games his freshmen season at Memphis. Too many here are star-struck by his 5 star rating.

In AAC play, he averaged 24 mpg, 9.7 ppg, and shot his three’s ok (36 percent), but shot just 27 percent on two-point jumpers. He scored well at the hoop but needs to good to the hoop far more often than he did playing for Memphis. He hardly went to the foul-line and shot just 64 percent at the foul-line.

His turnover and foul rate was very high. As he committed one turnover every 9 minutes, and a foul once every 11 minutes. He also hardly ever stole the ball. He needs good coaching to upgrade his game if he’s to be successful at EMU.

Do think EMU will add a scorer. To early to talk about who will join Noah as EMU’s top scorers.

Miggy - I’ve watched Emoni since his freshman year in high school and he is a legitimate Major basketball player. There are plenty of so called experts that predict he was the best 2022 high school player until he reclassified to the 2021 class. It’s premature to evaluate Emoni as a 17 year old who played against D1 competition. I expect Emoni to average 17-24 ppg in Heath’s system. Just look at the growth Noah had from ECU 4ppg to EMU 17ppg in Heath’s system. I’m very optimistic that Emoni will avg 17-24 ppg based on watching him live for years.

I respect your opinion. Maybe his injuries effected his game. Mostly want want to see his turnovers and personal foul rate decline. Will if he makes good decisions. Bates is a tremendous athlete.
