The Georgia Southern Eagles and Kennesaw State Owls have scheduled a home-and-home football series for the 2032 and 2033 seasons, it was announced on Wednesday.

In the first game of the series, Georgia Southern will host Kennesaw State at Allen E. Paulson Stadium in Statesboro, Ga., on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2032. The series will conclude the following season when the Eagles travel to face the Owls at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Kennesaw, Ga., on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2033.

I don’t know if the game will still happen now that they are moving up, but Delaware is at Penn State on 9/11/2027. They also have an ongoing home/home with Delaware State listed but that obviously will be dropped or reduced to just home games going forward.

Delaware vs Delaware State

The Delaware Blue Hens are set to move up to the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and join Conference USA in 2025. Ahead of that move, the school has announced their inaugural game at the FBS level.

Delaware will open the 2025 season against the in-state rival Delaware State Hornets on Thursday, Aug. 28 at Delaware Stadium in Newark, Del.

That one gets them out of their trip to Dover in 2025, one of two which they agreed to when they renewed the “rivalry”.

That game makes sense now. Glad its happening.

What a blessing for UAB. Their fans will finally be exposed to quality football, a full stadium and a great band. All they had to do was agree to take two losses.

I won't go where you went. I'll just say glad the series is happening. There are folks that are fans of both schools and support both with some great mutual respect.

And I'll say there are those in Jacksonville who will never forget an arena full of fans chanting "please don't go" while Dollar Bill marched around the court talking about loyalty and family. We don't need a lecture on why he left. That makes perfect sense. The way he did it will never sit right with a good number of us.

I'm happy there are people with love and well wishes for both schools. And I'm happy you got your program back, because UAT's board, specify Bear Jr., is a clown show. But it's not unreasonable that some of us still harbor bad blood for UAB, and very much want to see us win these games.

Good for the Hens, renewing those rivalries with northeastern FBS foes is a big reason they joined CUSA. Glad it’s seeing immediate payoff for them.

I guess the MT posters are telling the truth about actually liking the mid-week games. KSU with only one home mid-week game o'shame wins the prize in year one! Glad they got the rivalries back to Saturdays. I don't consider Tech and SHSU rivals but we are within driving distance, so I would have traded that game for any of the Saturday ones (but it is not some great travesty of a choice either, just a puzzling one).
