I started a little twitter question, but I thought id bring it here amidst the off season lul

Who would you choose to root for as your G5 football team if it wasnt Toledo?

Stipulations: Cant be in Ohio, and cant share our color scheme. For red teams its probably more of an issue.

I picked UTSA or App State. Im sure some of you guys have met more fanbases and seen more venues than me so Im curious where yall stand. AFA and Navy will probably be popular answers as well. I liked stAte's fans a lot down in Mobile, but they are the only real fans Ive even met outside of our MAC bretheren.

I really only follow the MAC and B10, but I'll play. I always root for the Academies and I casually follow Boise State because UT is often compared to achieving their status, but never quite gets over the hump. I also keep an eye on Appalachian State ever since they beat UM.

I would not have a second favorite g5 team. I only follow the Rockets Buckeyes and Northwestern (my brother is an alumnus of there).

donʻt have a 2nd favorite but enjoy watching G5 vs P5 football matchups when thereʻs a competitive G5 team. Same with hoops, especially the tourney. Toledo is the 1,2,3 for college though. pro level I got my teams and also keep an eye on teams with former rockets playing.
