Seems like one goal would be to get the stadium as full as possible for all games. Maybe the mini plans are the way to achieve that too... I'm no marketing guy...

Yup, the fewer one-game "frontrunners" there are in the stadium, the better for our program's health.

Without the mini-plan being made available, we would sell fewer tickets. That of course leads to less revenue with the same amount in attendance for those non-Virginia school games.

The way I see it, the mini-plans are a win-win for the school. The school gets to make money off of tickets at full price, and when folks who were buying to just go to the Tech game likely put their tickets on the market to recoup some of the money, the competition pressures will push the price of those tickets below what the school would ever sell them at. So folks can go see ODU play Georgia Southern for cheaper than they would have if they just bought from the school.

They were also smart to put Tek and the Pukes in different mini plans. Genius. You

This game may well sell out, but they would announce a sellout even if they had to hand out the rest of the tix to youth groups.

What, these tickets haven't been for sale to the public yet. This game was never in doubt to be sold-out. I'm very excited about the season tickets selling do well.

Does anyone know when ODAF opens tomorrow? I can’t locate their office hours (although I know the ynot tix office opens at 10). Also, does anyone know if they are going to sell the available season tickets for the VT game starting tomorrow? I need to buy one more season ticket in W216 and I’m wondering what my chances are (guessing slim to none).

I don't see any season or mini-plan tickets available that includes VT. I'm thinking that finding one after VT would be possible. Get them a call.
