An 8,000 seat stadium means that Kennesaw State isn't even trying to get fans. You can't even say that they're trying but failing to get fans.

This is why people talk about breaking off from the NCAA.

They just announced they are adding 1,500 seats next year and then more seats before the 2024 season to get to over 15,000. NCAA doesn't need to do anything. Have you seen some MAC crowds at their games in November cold?

Getting to 15k for their inaugaral CUSA season is a must and will match Charlotte's stadium size as they move to the AAC. Charlotte will be expanding to 30k in the future but they've played in a 15k stadium since bringing back football.

I think expanding the bank to 15k makes alot more sense than building a 30k stadium. I hope fan support gets better in FBS. But if we're not selling out ~9k now building to get to 30k feels like a mistake. Building bigger than we can hope to fill so people don't say "lol small stadium" on message boards would be pretty dumb.

At least 15k is the same size as Charlotte's and Coastal Carolina. If/when you start filling it, then you can worry about a new stadium.
