Using the alma maters of SB Quarterbacks, which matchups would be plausible bowl matchups?

Is this like:

Last Super Bowl had Stafford (Georgia) against Burrow (LSU), so they would be able to meet in a playoff rematch (or maybe first time, if one of them didn't qualify for the SEC champ game) but no bowls otherwise?

Or could it be QBs from any year, and not just ones that faced each other in that given year?

IDK exactly either. So ima gonna say next SB will be Derek Carr (MWC’s Fresno State) vs ??? *Cant be MWC’sWyoming Josh Allen since both AFC and no other MWC-alum’s NFL QBs I can think of…

Edit: (sadly) could be vs Jordan Love (Utah State/MWC/GreenBay) with (again, sadly) a pre-SB Aaron Rodgers injury.

If this is about potential Super Bowl matchups this year, then I suppose it could be something like:

Josh Allen (Wyoming) vs. Tom Brady (Michigan) (currently the highest odd for a match-up).

Which could (technically) be:
Cotton Bowl (not likely)
or (potentially)
Guaranteed Rate Bowl

You provided a historical game that actually happened. I suppose the goal here is to provide a bowl matchup that could happen this year. So CUSA vs. AAC could technically involve these ones I guess?

If Tech and Navy meet in a bowl again after this next season, I think both fanbases will just be happy to have improved from 2021.

I will go with a potential matchup this year, Justin Herbert (Oregon) vs. Tom Brady (Michigan), which could also work in a Rose Bowl matchup. BTW, both passed for over 5,000 yards last season, so it would be a fun matchup.
