I hear that we are supposed to get new turf at the Rock. I found these on Twitter so I don't think these are official but here are some possible designs.

Understood. I made reference in my post that "I heard" we "might" get new turf, that I found these examples on twitter, and that this was "fan fiction". Thanks for clarifying further.

It is about time to redo it. It was last resurfaced after the 2013 tornado and the typical life of a field is 10 years or so.

That last drawing gets my vote. The 5th one is great, too.

The eagle head needs to be at midfield. It’s on the basketball court, so we should be consistent. It wasn’t an option last time around because the status of the logo was still unsettled.

I'll go #5, but I think I'd still rather have gold end zones that say "Golden Eagles"

Will Hall said in his after practice interview yesterday that " they are planning on new turf" after this season is over. Still not true confirmation, but sounds like things are lining up for it.

I saw pics on Twitter yesterday that the old turf is being removed right now. Any insight on the design of the new turf?

The turf is so crisp and clean that i thought the above pic was a final draft proposal, but that is a pic of the actual turf. Beautiful!!!!

The last one in the original post was almost spot on sans a few minor differences. Only major difference was the two-tone grass. And I agree, I really didn't like any of the other ones.

the white lettering in the EZ is also quite different,,,,
