Not yet.

These past 5 years have me pondering an earlier death though.

Give me an NY5 win and a Lions playoff win first so I have things to add to conversations in the afterlife.

Nope. Already retired. It's a great buying opportunity if you have the $$$ and appetite for risk.

Any second thoughts when looking at your portfolio? My parents who have been retired a bit are considering part time jobs again.

Yes, a very good idea.

So they need to take a minimum distribution from their IRA which is down, they will have loss on the sale. If they have earned income the loss will offset the taxes due on the earned income, so income tax will be zero on that.
In Traverse City yesterday McDonalds paying $21/hr. Easy. 20 hour part time $420/wk.

RE: Anybody in here considering bumping back retirement?
I'll say this: I've been adjusting my portfolio as I age so I am not totally exposed if the market takes a deep dive. Trying to time the market is a "fool's game" -- I'm simply not playing it. If I earn a modest 5-7% return over the next 10 years I should reach my goals so there is no sense in pushing it.
