Mine is geographic. After graduation, we lived the Pittsburgh suburb of Castle Shannon. The locals refer to it simply as Shannon. Mine is a combination of geography and being an alumnus.

Lance was banned from what is now Carolina's 247 board for making derogatory remarks about John Bunting's coaching ability.
The cancelled Lance resurfaced as XLance.

Clifton Avenue runs along the neighborhood near the University of Cincinnati. Separately there is Clifton Heights, University Heights and Fairview. People refer to the whole area as Clifton (you can lump in Corryville as well although).

Fair enough. My grandmother (1921) always ordered it for us when we came into town. Hope your family is doing well, and if she isn't with us anymore, my God keep her close.

RE: What's the origin of your screen name?
My screen name on all these boards is out of date. AppfanInCAAland is a reference to being an App State grad and fan living in Richmond, Virginia, home of the CAA office, and at the time I created the name, half of the CAA were Virginia schools. Of that VA bunch, only W&M is left now (as well as newbie Hampton) and CAAland has shifted up the Bos-Wash Corridor and down to the Carolinas with a Virginia sized hole in the middle.

I have a very common first name and I live in a really big state. Anonymous, yet specific. I'm not very creative.

My Twitter username is johninkingwood. That's a little more specific, as that's where I actually live. I tried to change it to johnintx, but that was already taken.

Did you kill him just to see him die?

Very little imagination went into my name. Im a Syracuse fan living in Rochester.
Its not a spin off of Chris Rock. Now that I spend so much time in Sarasota, I should change it to something like "SarasotaCuseRoc" Again, not much imagination.

RE: What's the origin of your screen name?
I’m cynical and like weather and wordplay so cyniclone it is. The first time someone (different board) used it in an IRL meetup I cringed so hard that it took a plunger to retrieve my face from the back of my head. But I’ve had it in various places for pushing a decade, so I guess it’s my dumb brand. When I decide to rebrand I’ll do so with a timeless and tasteful screen name like xXxILOVBUTS69420xXx
