Ummm...ok.
I'm sincerely curious...
How are Carter, Bush 41, and Obama crooks?
Surely you aren't serious?
Then surely you can answer the question.
Sure. I can. I was alive during the Carter years and he practically ran this nation into the dirt.
The Bush's? LOL! I don't think this site allows enough characters typed to talk about the crooked Bush family.
Obama? Fast & Furious, Solyndra, Benghazi, Iran, and on and on and on.
Feel free to educate yourself. I don't get paid enough to explain all the crap on a message board. And even if I did, it's clear I can't convince you. You probably think Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell are super swell folks that want the best for you and truly love this country.

So you have nothing on Carter, you just think he was a bad president. Being bad or incompetent doesn’t mean you’re crooked.
I asked about the first Bush. Tell me how he was a crooked politician.
Nothing you mentioned about Obama speaks of “crooked.” He didn’t financially benefit nor can you show people close to him financially benefited.
I didn’t ask about Clinton or Bush 43 because Clinton’s nickname is “Slick Willie” after all, and Bush 43 completely did the forever wars for business associates to plunder the US treasury.

There is sooooo much in your post, but I'm not Stammers.
Plus, I could write a novel and not change your mind. So, with that being said...

I really need you to understand what the word "crooked" means and understand what you are saying when you call a politician crooked.
There are crooked politicians who are really good at their elected positions.
There are politicians who are not crooked who are really bad at their elected positions.
If you are calling a politician crooked, I would think you mean they are "corrupt" and they are doing illegal and/or unethical things for their personal or associates' benefit.
RE: Let’s discuss this: Ford Motor Coming to Memphis region
Pretty nice WKNO interview regarding the Ford plant and it's impact to Memphis and the region.
We've seen the impact the Nissan & GM plants made in Middle TN and the impact made by the Volkswagen plant in East TN.
I knew the Ford plant was big, but I didn't know it was going to be THIS big.
Quote:These days, Herbison is busy preparing for Ford’s arrival with an industrial campus in Haywood County that is bigger than the Nissan, GM and Volkswagen plants combined.
Quote:“I think you will see a number of companies that Ford actually invests in that will come in-site with them,” Herbison said.
“But I think you will see other suppliers – tier 2 and tier 3 – that will come in closer proximity (to Memphis and Shelby County),” he said. “This will be a just-in-time type of facility, where seats will get there 20 or 30 minutes before they go into the vehicle – electronics, brakes – probably around 30,000 truck movements a week in and out of this facility to bring those components in and out.”
Herbison is now working through sewer capacity issues across West Tennessee that have to be addressed in advance of what he and Threadgill see as explosive growth in residential, industrial, commercial and retail development that will follow.

Agree with both observations. Unless the state had been wanting to remove "Memphis" but felt they couldn't do it without getting slammed. Now that they have hooked a big fish it seems like there will be less bitching about it. IDK.
West TN Megasite seems a better name for all involved. Maybe Brownsville insisted on it and we all know whatever Brownsville wants, Brownsville gets. LOL.
