TOLEDO FIREFIGHTER AND BB PLAYER SAVES LIFE OF REFEREE
Saw this last night on national news on FoxNews - don't recall which show. Keep an eye on the ref at the bottom of the screen in the video. Notice how after running down court, he can be seen flexing his hands and losing his balance just before he collapses on the floor. This was a minor league basketball game (the team is Toledo Glass City of "The Basketball League") and a player comes off the bench to administer CPR on the ref. Myles Copeland is the name of the player and he is a 25 year old firefighter from Toledo. He had just come off a 24 hour shift before heading to the game in New York Don't know where he played HS BB, but the name sounds vaguely familiar. Played at Trine University

SJJ grad and standout player 3 or 4 years behind me. Averaged about 16 a game as a sr in hs. Perhaps wasnt strong enough to play D1 out of HS but he had a great college carreer.
