$10 Kroger Tickets
Kroger tickets just went on sale for Arkansas State. We bought them a few years ago for the Duke game in 2013. Hard to beat that deal.

Glad to hear Kroger is still supporting the Tigers. Kroger pays the Tigers for the tickets then discounts and sells them for $10. There are better seats available, but it makes it possible for some families who wouldn't ordinarily be able to afford to attend to enjoy a local rivalry football game. I am getting excited already. AsT usually presents a challenge for the Tigers and that is a good thing. I really think they would have been a better add than Rice, but that boat has sailed.

Every ticket purchased at Kroger will buy 3 meals for the needy. It’s a great give back to the community.

If we had a smaller on-campus stadium, we wouldn't have the capacity to offer $10 tickets.

Never understood why some Tiger fans always find the Kroger involvement a mark of shame for the program. It is really a very good example of municipal involvement with the Tigers.

Why? Because the size of the stadium forces the university to sell tickets at high school prices in order to make the crowd look respectable. People do not buy season tickets because they can pick up cheap/discounted tickets at Kroger.

Poor poor thing. Like Jesse Winchester said "Life is just too short for some folks, for other folks it just drags on".

The university is not selling discounted tickets Marc. Kroger is being a good corporate citizen and buying the tickets from the university and selling the at a discounted price.

FedEx does the same thing and gives the tickets away free to its employees

You are so negative

The only press I’ve seen about this is that the Tigers will donate $1 of every ticket sold by Kroger to the Mid-South Food Bank. Where did you find the above?

It's the perception that we're not able to sell tickets unless they're discounted. Especially since other schools in the area are usually sold out and have waiting list for tickets.

I guess I will sort of agree with you.

I believe they should of used the 11/19 game with North Alabama as the Kroger game instead of home opener.

History shows attendance falls as season goes deeper normally regardless of team’s performance.

Also some of our worst crowds of butts in seats are when we have a home game on the opening day of deer season in TN/MS , so factor that in with it being a buy game & you’re probably looking at less than 20k butts in seats that day even though tickets sold will be much higher.

Hope I am wrong.
