Tim Jameison Named New Pitching Coach
Won over 600 games at Missouri. Helped mentor Max Scherzer. Spent the past 2 seasons at Southern Illinois where they ranked first in league in pitching and ERA.

Great get! Always a good sign when a former boss will work for someone who once worked for him. Adds to the warm and fuzzy component of winning baseball.

If efforts create wins then Jackson may be heading to a decent season.

He is clearly putting in a lot of effort so far with this hire and portal pickups.

Do you have a link to the Baseball Portal ? I'm having a hard time finding one ... All I've seen are a couple of articles that say we have lost 2 players to the portal and picked up 1, but no real portal similar to the 247 Football and Basketball links ...

All you can do is keep an eye on Twitter and Facebook as I cannot find a portal listing for baseball either.

We need to pick up a lot more in the portal.

Green was unhittable in his senior year in HS but didn't get on the field at Georgia.

Having lost our best hitter and best pitcher is a blow.

Looks to be an outstanding addition…& better yet, it shows Coach Jackson to be a confident leader. Tiger baseball is in good hands.

Heard Jackson's radio interview with Calkins last week. He seems legit and has a great perspective. I would say he's very articulate, but Calkins tells me that's racist. (Although I have said that Silverfield is NOT articulate, so I'm not sure how race factors in.)

I guess the guy joking about Jackson being some other school’s reject might be poor judgement. Off to a good start keeping most of the team that showed some life at the end of the year, good assistant hire and a couple of pickups with potential.

Major upgrade on the stadium coming. Time to be positive about the future of baseball.

I am looking forward to attending more games this coming season. Spring baseball is the most pleasant. Especially from mid March through May. Rock left the roster in good shape and with a few key additions the team could be very competitive this coming February.
