They're not even trying to hide it anymore.

She could move to Afghanistan where religion dominates everything. Is that what she is looking for? If the church, as she says, is supposed to direct the government, then which church? There are a lot of religions in the country of RELIGIOUS FREEDOM.

Boebert is a loon.

But there are a lot of people who support her and others (MTG) like her, not just Trump.

They want to destroy the government so they elect charlatans who do nothing but troll.

Met her at a golf outing last summer, had a nice chat. She is pretty hot.

RE: Investigation of Jan. 6 Capitol Attack
There are stories that Trump is quaking in his boots-going ballistic over what may happen not only from J6 committee but other legal stuff he's potentially facing,

and that Repubs are slowly moving away from him as their standard bearer.

Of course that just might lead them to DeSantis.

So was (is?) Sarah Palin.

Or was that Tina Fey?

Being "hot" doesn't (or shouldn't) qualify you to represent a state in House of Representatives or Senate.

Big Gretch had a thread in our archives long before she ever was a State Executive. (sigh)

And a community organizer or reality tv star doesn't qualify you the be President of the United States. But our system allows for constituents to elect the individual who they feel will best represent them. It's an added value bonus if they also happen to be good looking .02-13-banana

RE: Investigation of Jan. 6 Capitol Attack
Some things to consider for improving government:
-There should be a vetting process for all political candidates before they even run for any office.
-Term limits need to be implemented for congressional members.
-There needs to be immediate response to any political member for lying with the correct information presented.
Consequences for lying should be a grace period and then termination continued practice.
-Congressional members need to work together and create bi-partisan groups to address problems and come up with solutions rather than just taking sides.
-The Supreme Court should have term limits and be balanced with equal representation of both parties.
-There should be age limits for those running for president.

Or just move to Texas, which is becoming basically the same.

Yea I mean, you have to take a test just to drive a car. There should be a minimum knowledge required to be a rep or senator. But I suppose in Texas they would consider knowledge of the bible to be sufficient.

You should also not be a conspiracy theorist and have some respect for truth.

It's good to see prominent conservatives fighting back against the lawlessness of the far right. Between the moderate conservatives moving on to new fights and Trump's mounting legal troubles, we might finally be seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Can't be done with all this "stolen election" garbage soon enough.

I do worry about the throngs of cultists who still hang on the reality tv star's every word. What will they do if their messiah is eventually charged with serious crimes? I really hope we don't see more violence and division. I don't know how much more our country can take.

Appears HRC may have been right about the "deplorables" (although obviously should not have said it publicly).

Next Jan 6th hearing will be held Thurs in primetime. The focus will be on what Trump did (or did not do) while the planned attempt at overthrowing our government was in motion on Jan 6th.

I think the majority of the MAGA hard cores don't even care if Trump was lying. He breathed life into white nationalism and "owned the libs," so the ends justified the means. Trump was right about shooting someone on 5th Avenue and his poll numbers wouldn't go down.

With the so many Trump variants circulating among levels of government now, along with the spell so many boomers and small-town America is under, it's going to take a long while before the GOP recalibrates to something more moderate again. The days of Romney and McCain types are long gone.
