A conference is only as solid as it’s weakest links.... Texas/Oklahoma will lose luster as soon as they get shellacked by 50 on a consistent basis...
The hoopla from playing the aforementioned teams will help build the SEC Power brand by strengthening the “less” popular games to the masses, however to us folk in the “sticks” we would go absolutely bonkers for these dates..... oh, even toss-in Missou

Think 5 of those 7 dregs you mentioned are listed in a preseason top 25.

I like that you've sparked convo. As we continue to lose leverage, hopefully our Athletic Dept is thinking outside the box. Thinking of ways to grow brand from outside P5. Thinking of ways to connect with P5 teams/conferences. Don't stop growing and innovating. Always act like you're interviewing for a spot in the SEC. We'll see....
