just being honest here.. Haith has ALWAYS gotten under my skin.. just annoys the crappolla out of me. i've never really considered him to be an outstanding head coach, his win/loss and conference finishes have been mediocre.

That said.... he is VERY animated on the sidelines, the polar opposite of Penny and this may not be a bad thing. His teams have always had a lack of talent, so is expect his recruiting ability is limited, or at least his ability to close the deal. his does seem to get the most out of what little talent he had, seems to be able to game plan, and can certainly help with the practice and prep components of coaching.

Hopefully he can be an effective recruiter.. and if Penny wants him, I'm all for it.

he still gets under my skin though.

I've never liked the guy but I'm hoping I grow to like him now that he's with us. He put formidable opponents on the court vs us. Penny understands what he brings and I'm sure he has a vision for him. Get these LARGE basketball minds together and we'll see what comes of it. Penny, Larry Brown, Frank Haith......LOVE IT!

i always liked/appreciated huggins and crum.. marshall irked me. I've rarely had any issues with opposing players annoying me.. with a very few exceptions. (bobby beacher comes to mind)

The self-banned ORU guy hated Haith.
I think maybe Haith stole his gf while he was ORU.
Good thing he's not around to fill-up the board with whining.

Good question. If up to me, I offer it to LB out of respect, and I wouldn't be surprised if LB deferred to FH. As we know, Haith would bring energy!

I'm not saying it is or it isn't but just because he used to be a head coach doesn't automatically make it good.

And why isn't he still a head coach if he's that good?
