Seems like a lot of sell puts this year. They brought in extra seating for many of them. Is there any plans for building some permanent extra seating?

Sure needs it the way Hattiesburg supports the baseball.

McClain was quoted in one of Rick Cleveland’s articles recently saying they’re looking into it and that plans were being drawn up. He also said that it’s limited with current surroundings. Or something to that effect. I’m too lazy to go reread the article.

I’ve always thought the university needs to buy the apartment complex next to the Pete and expand that way. Move the cages where some of the apartments are and put bleachers down the line, moving the bullpen back some. Any expansion down right field will potentially take away spots or at least the view of some of the Roost folks unless they can somehow fit seats onto the slopes below the Roost. I would love to see the Pete bigger and with closer conference mates we are going to start getting larger crowds consistently. Let’s build, baby!

Need to at least fix the foundation in left field and put bleachers in the gaps out there.

Add more seating down the right field line until the grassy area and add suites over that seating.
