Another Evil Lutheran Church Project: The Transition Closet
This is in Fayetteville Arkansas…

“The Transition Closet is a free closet for those who are transitioning. We do our best to provide masculine, feminine, and gender-neutral clothing to people who are going through all types of transitions.

The Transition Closet started in June 2021 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, in response to the anti-trans laws that were being passed in Arkansas. We accept gently used, and laundered, masculine, feminine, and gender-neutral clothing, as well as gently used transgender undergarments such as binders, tucking underwear, and packing underwear.”

RE: Another Evil Lutheran Church Project: The Transition Closet
It appears this is a big part of the "falling away" and apostasy Paul said would happen right at the very end of the church age.

If the culture is going to allow drag shows and transgender agenda to be pushed on small children (and it already is), you can forget keeping it out of the liberal churches. They will soon be FILLED with transgenders and drag queens.

I was just reading a comment section today full of gays arguing Jesus did not speak on homosexuality, as if homosexuality does not fall under sexual sin and sex out of marriage which Jesus taught very clearly on.

Its an argument of total insanity. Jesus did not speak DIRECTLY on men beating their wives, so can men beat their wives? Jesus did not speak SPECIFICALLY on selling your children into sex markets, so can we sell our children into sex markets?

That is just how stupid and insane this gets with those people.

Jesus was very clear, even lusting for a woman in your heart is sin, all sexual activity outside of marrige is sin. And Jesus was clear marriage is between a man and woman.

You don't have to mention every specific sexual perversion, they are ALL covered under those basic teachings. ALL sexual activity and lust in the heart is sin outside of the marriage of a man and woman.

I am amazed how quick churches have fallen on this issue. It's one thing to vote that way b/c you believe it's their American-given right. It's quite another for churches to fly trans rainbow flags & minister gay marriages

I don't understand why churches do this. It's not like the Pride community is suddenly going to flock to the church. And God-fearing men & women will leave. Yes, outreach is good, but an endorsement isn't.

I am a cradle Episcopalian, and have watched my denomination keep trying to be "inclusive," and as a result has gone from including 3+ million people in the 1950s to less than 2 million today. As a result, I have moved my membership to the Anglican break-away churches, which are basically still faithful to the theology and beliefs of the early 1950s Episcopal church.

You make great points. Arguing from absence is a slippery slope.

I would also add that Jesus had no reason to speak against homosexuality. Same sex relationships were not accepted in Jewish culture. Why would Jesus spend time teaching that homosexuality was a sin when Jewish Scripture already taught it to be a sin? Jesus didn't come to abolish the Law or the Prophets but to fulfill them.

It proves these are apostate churches led by false teachers and leaders.

In some respects this is a good litmus test for churches. If they embrace the rainbow society then you know its an apostate church.

A true church led by the Holy Spirit would embrace them only if they are seeking repentance of their sin. If you are not seeking to turn away from your old life of sin, then you are not seeking true repentance and salvation.

It began in earnest with H.W. Bush's 1000 points of light program where churches were used to dispense aid to people in their communities. The concept was to get more help to those in need by using existing support structures in the private sector. Couple that with Federally backed Student Loans, government grants, and other assistance offered to universities with seminaries, and you had infiltration on doctrine deemed prejudicial at the university level and now you many pulpits answerable to Federal policies as well. It was an insidious invasion of the freedom of religion by the Federal government.

Now couple this with the sons of wealthy and influential people who dodged the Viet Nam draft by heading out of a 4 year degree into a 3 year seminary program and you had a pot full of narcissists entering ministry where their parents denominational gifts bought them status and positions of influence within these churches without having the conviction of faith. And these were the doorkeepers and decision makers when government money was extended to the churches in the 1000 points of light program. With the seminaries pushing the then "gay agenda" by the late 1980's and what you are seeing as "Woke" agenda by the 90's.

None of this just happened! Ministers were fighting these issues denomination by denomination and church by church in the 90's and early 2000's and those who made their congregations aware were brought up on some kind of denominational charge and dismissed and replaced with clergy who were politically in step.

Needless to say military chaplains went through the same.

Eric's assessment of what it is "apostasy" is 100% on target. I'm simply telling you how it happened, when it happened, who helped it to happen, and how it was mostly covered up for 30 plus years.

Now it's worse if you can imagine that? Now Corporations are funding seminarians as "part time corporate chaplains, only God is not the focus, compassion is, and those who participate must adhere to corporate inclusion doctrine both as a part time chaplain and in the churches they serve.

A 1000 points of light helped to usher in total darkness. Oh, and Lucifer means light (day star).

Very interesting. It'd be fascinating if it wasn't perverse. I'll have to research more into it for sure!
I had always thought it was a bunch of reasons:
Churches caving on one fundamental issue or another & that opening the floodgates
The pastors being led by their own feelings (ie gay people they know)
"how do we get attendance up?"
Just the gradual march to liberalism in general
etc.
Tho definitely how quickly they fell makes sense they didn't have either congregation or church government processes in place to prevent it.

Many churches start by being lured away by the words "love' and "justice." It sounds good until you hear what they are pushing but no one speaks up because no one wants to be against those things. Next think you know the church has a gay pastor and is pushing transgenderism with rainbow flags all over the place.
