We need an amendment to that board freeing the University from the City of Memphis.

Absolutely, so we can just call ourselves the University.

Drop Memphis from our name because we are free.

I understand the thought process, because it removes us from one level of corruption, but the two are mutually beneficial. Even if the University does get screwed more consistently than the city.
