The markets are heading down sharply again this morning. Fed interest rate expected to rise later this week.

No end to rising gas prices. I hope dems and the election "fixers" are happy.

Just look at California. The middle class is disappearing before our eyes and the smart ones are leaving in droves before they become victims of poverty. Fine example of how Democrats run things straight into the ground and blame everyone else for their failures.

The REAL PROBLEM is the grossly ignorant people who continue to turn a blind eye to their own demise.

President Trump vs. Biden* stock market performance as of:
Last updated: June 10th, 2022

How does President Trump compare to Biden* in the stock market? Here are the facts on cumulative and annualized performance between President Trump and Biden* in the stock market.

These comparisons are between President Trump vs Biden* in seveal metrics. Since Biden* is still allegedly installed, Biden*s performance is still current date and President Trump's performance is for the same equivalent time period in President Trump's presidency.

With respect to cumulative performance, President Donald Trump has performed better on all 3 metrics. President Trump's highest performance difference was on the indicator NASDAQ Index performing 52.08% better than *Biden.

Cumulatively across the S&P 500, President Trump is at 22.77% compared to Biden* at 2.68% a difference of 20.08%.

On the NASDAQ, President Trump is at 38.00% compared to Biden* at -14.07% a difference of 52.08%.

Finally, on the DOW Jones, President Trump is at 28.30% compared to Biden* at 1.49% a difference of 26.80%.

Code:
Index
Cumul.
Perfor-
mance    Trump    Biden*    Difference
NASDAQ    38.00%    -14.07%    Trump +52.08%
DOW    28.30%    1.49%    Trump +26.80%
S&P    22.77%    2.68%    Trump +20.08%
Index
Annualized
Perfor-
mance    Trump    Biden*    Difference
NASDAQ    26.21%    -10.34%    Trump +36.56%
DOW    19.74%    1.07%    Trump +18.66%
S&P    15.98%    1.92%    Trump +14.05%

It's not even close: President Trump's economy wins!

Now, do you think markets will go up or continue to go down with record-high inflation, record-high gas prices, supply chain strangulation, high crime, emptying store shelves, first time in America food shortages, baby formula crisis, high taxes likely headed even higher, interest rate hikes, et cetera...

Happy Monday!

In his latest "My Take," "Varney & Co." host Stuart Varney discusses the state of the economy as inflation continues to cripple Americans' wallets, arguing the country is getting "worse off."

Quote:STUART VARNEY: Inflation is a personal economic experience. Every time you pay for something, you take notice, because the price of just about everything is going straight up. It can be a shock.

On Sunday morning in New Jersey, I bought four items. 8 small tomatoes: $6.99. Blueberries: $6.99, a small loaf of bread: $6.29 and a pint of milk: $1.89.

Total: $22.16

A year ago, those same items, in the same store, would have cost maybe $15.

We're getting worse off: rapid price hikes erode your standard of living.

The president* is clueless: on Friday at the docks in Los Angeles, he blamed shipping companies.

He tried to turn anger at inflation into anger at corporations: In the absence of an effective policy, the president* turns nasty.

Ok, you've been shocked at the grocery store and shocked at the gas station...

Now open your 401(k). Another shock.

The market sell-off has probably cut your pension money by 30%. I expect the president to blame the Federal Reserve.

But who will voters blame? 147 days to the November 8th elections. But the cheat will be on again.

RE: Just in: Inflation rose 8.6% in May, highest since 1981
I have to think inflation numbers for June will be even higher for consumers. The Producer Price Index released on June 14th indicated that the cost of goods produced increased to .8% in May (up from .4% in April. That would reflect an annual 10.8% (double digit) inflation rate measured for the 12 month period ending in May of 2022. This reflects goods in the actual production pipeline---so this .8 increase is almost certainly going to eventually show up in your stores in June. I have to think something near that 10.8% May to May producer price index will eventually be reflected in the prices consumers pay. So we could potentially soon see double digit inflation if the PPI inflation rate plays out at the consumer level.
