Can Akot shoot the 3? I like how he can handle the ball for his size and he is very good at moving the ball to the open man against a half court defense.
But he only scored 7 points against us in the ncaa tournament.

I don’t know, but if it was me, I would be sprinting over here to play with Kendric Davis, if I was a good shooter. I sure wouldn’t stay away and choose to play for Texas Tech or Pitt.

I highly doubt Penny is telling potential shooting guards that their playing time will indeed be cut into by a backup point guard. And we don’t even know if Lomax is returning. It certainly hasn’t been announced. Also, Davis is going to at least get 30 minutes a game. He didn’t transfer here to split time with Lomax.

I am wondering what the plan here is because all I see left is Bates, Pete Nance and Emmanuel Akot as major names. And we need 2 or 3 starters cause the Davis/Williams combo is not much better than the Martin/Davenport combo that lead Tubbys last team imo

"If" Alo is in the "mix".....it's going to cause an issue.....We had a surplus of guards last season....very capable, I must add.....Somebody riddle me, (how many minutes did Alo average?)

Now, we have one "legit" threat @ our guard position and we think Alo is going to magically vanish
