I went to a HS bb game a few years back at the other team's gym. Walked in and they were playing on a Memphis court. Hadn't even repainted half court. I believe it was in Carroll County.

Also have seen old Memphis warmups used in Fayette County.

That's hilarious!

I'd love to have one! I'd build a pole barn to house it.

the hernando basketball complex

has a memphis tiger court, georgia bulldog court, memphis hustle court and
a blacktop court (dont know if it is millers )

Id like a fake blacktop court with some blue or grey accents but I’m probably in the minority lol

That sounds awful.

Where exactly in Fayette County are they using old UofM courts?

I could be wrong, but I think it's Carroll Academy that uses the old Memphis Grizzlies court from the Pyramid.

I've seen Fayette Co using old warmups - not a court. I believe it was Fayette Ware a few years back.

They get sold to smaller venues, usually. A court that is well maintained will need a sanding/refinishing every 4-5 years, and quality courts can last up to 20 years with about 4-5 refinishings. So on the open market it can easily go for 70-80k with about 15 years left on its lifespan, assuming it only has only been refinished once (which will be required if another venue purchases it, which will want to put its own colors/logos on it).

RE: No more strange blue court
So we get a new court every two years, but new uniforms only once every 5 years.
