With the AAC leaning towards not going with divisions moving forward...
And the rumor out there of a 3+5/5 conference schedule. Who do you want our 3 permanent football opponents to be?
Mine:
1. Memphis
2. Tulane
3. South Florida (my second choice for this slot would be North Texas)
This video below (AAC section starts around the 12:30 mark) thinks they may be:
1. Memphis
2. Tulane
3. Charlotte

Memphis
Tulane
Don’t really care about who the other is but I would expect it to be Charlotte, USF or FAU
I think we will for sure get Memphis but don’t know about Tulane. I could see them wanting the Texas private schools for recruiting purposes.

What’s the reasoning behind Tulane? Just geographical purposes or just the common favorite

Geography, history, good relationship between the schools. Other than Memphis, who would be more fitting?

Shared conference with Tulane in C-USA for many years. It is one of the closest schools to Bham. New Orleans is a good and easy road trip. Also the schools have done a lot of collaboration in recent years.
