The biggest things:
There will be a full slate of NFL Games on Sun. Jan. 1, including a Sunday Night game in Los Angeles between the Super Bowl Champion Rams and the "Chargers" (who should be in San Diego IMO). This is normal operating procedure. The difference is that in old years this would be the final week of the regular season and now it is the second to last week.
There is a Monday Night Football game on Mon. Jan. 2, Buffalo at Cincinnati.
The Sugar Bowl will be played Sat. Dec. 31, 2022 at 11am CT on ESPN.

There are no NFL games scheduled for either Fri. Dec. 30 or Sat. Dec. 31. There is an NFL game scheduled for Thur. Dec. 29, Dallas at Tennessee. This could affect the date/time of the Music City Bowl. The last two years it was played Dec. 30 mid afternoon. That day/time could be in jeopardy as they'd have less than 24 hours to turn it around after the Titans play.
The previous week there are a full slate of games on Sat. Dec. 24 and three games scheduled on Sun. Dec. 25 including one hosted by the Rams in the Los Angeles area. There is a Monday Night game on Mon. Dec. 26 but it is in Indianapolis. That game is hosted by ESPN so it is likely that no bowl game plays in prime time that night unless they air on another network (ABC, ESPN2, FOX) and then they are competing vs. the NFL.
Week 18 has two games played on Sat. Jan. 7 and the rest of the games on Sun. Jan. 8 so I'm guessing no college bowls either day. The national championship is Mon. Jan. 9 in So Fi Stadium in Inglewood, CA, the first time the national championship will be crowned in Southern California in College Football Playoff history and the second time it was played in California (2019 in Levi Stadium in Santa Clara).
