IN a memo, it tells them they will have to work on shows they may find "harmful", and if they hav an issue with that, to hit the road.

Stock price responded immediately positive, shooting up 16% on the news.

Ive said from the start---it was a wildly stupid policy for any business to take sides in a heated 50-50 political debate when the option to say absolutely nothing is available. You dont have say a word either way---meaning you dont alienate either side. Lets be honest---nobody cares what their tire company, soap company, or internet content streamer has to say. They are just companies---a comany doesnt vote. It would be like being forced to listen to your check-out clerk at the grocery store drone on about how stupid you are to vote for Trump because Biden would be such a awesome prez every time you got to the store. You didnt go to the grocery store to get all these keen political insights from the register clerk---you just went to the store to get some darn Oreos and you dont want a political lecture from the idiot clerk.

I've had cashiers tell me their political leanings and I look at them and say, "That's real nice. Can you bag my groceries while pontificating?"
