Good Grief:

We need a good old fashioned airport meeting for a best of the rest conference. Retreat to the High Ground! Whatever the 12 don't take of: Memphis, SMU, Tulane, ECU, USF, Navy, Temple, Tulsa, Colorado St, Air Force, SDSU, Boise, maybe Wyoming and/or New Mexico, UNLV or Fresno. Anything might be better than this.

The only arguments for staying in the AAC orbit around three ideas: 1) We go to the 12 in a few years; 2) We can perhaps dominate the new AAC and have a leg up on any access spot; and/or, 3) We're too poor or to lazy and/or have no one with the vision and clout that can get it done.
