We called a time out w/ :26 left on the game clock and :02 left on the play clock.

First off, strong defensive win by Houston. And Tune was just unbelievable in the 4th. So great win Houston. What a game by both teams. Great effort to all. Good luck to UH from here on.

Props up and y'all took this game.

I'm proud with my 'Runners and look forwd to more competitive games down the road. We are still young but making some noise

Next year we will travel to all road games in the AAC and also the OOC. So looking forward to this rematch in Houston

Again great win UH. Kick ass in the B12.

Looks like that was easily one of the top 5 attendance home games in UTSA history. They only drew a little less than the 41K they got for last years CUSA CCG. I suspect UTSA and Texas St should probably be a frequent OOC UH opponent if ticket sales matter.

Attendance of the lesser team wont matter ..it how much we do when they come here..
we could do 80k easy vs texas ...it wont matter.. its how much texas does vs us that counts

The only UTSA game in Houston was a sell out---but that was opening night at TDECU so it would have been a sellout against anyone. The Texas State game in 2012 was a sellout (Robertson) and in 2016 they drew 33K to TDECU. We will see---but I suspect we'd sell more tickets for home games vs nearby large state publics than we would for smaller in state private schools. I enjoy playing both SMU and Rice---but my guess is there are a lot more UTSA/Texas State grads living in Houston than there are Rice or SMU grads. Either way---ticket sales are going to rise just due to the bigger profile of the Big12. There are just more Big12 team alums living in Houston than there are alums from AAC teams. Thats just a symptom of the AAC being more spread out.

I think UTSA plays SMU for the AAC champ game next season. Mark it down.

I wouldn't count out UAB. They have a good program.
