RE: Recruiting
Averaged 21.2 points and 12.2 for Fellowship Assembly Christian School. They were still competing in the playoffs, with a 24-2 record, at the time the article I found was written. Obviously his stats are awesome, but I don't know about the quality of the competition. He did have offers from very comparable schools- Jacksonville, Radford, Tennessee State, and Tennessee-Martin (the last 2 are in the Ohio Valley Conference. I was always pleased when we beat out other Sun Belt schools, so beating out fellow OVC schools appears to be a positive.

Another site listed additional offers from Campbell, Indiana State, Detroit, and Rider. Overall, not a bad offer list.

Daniel's team finished 29-2, won the Tennessee Division 2-A State title, and he was the tournament MVP. Certainly sounds like a winner. He appears to come from a good family that stressed academics. Unfortunately, his dad passed away a couple of years ago after a 10 year battle with cancer.
