Inflation Update?
Biden* administration said inflation should have peaked last month. Just wondering if anyone has seen the new numbers for this month to see if they are full of sh*t again.

8.3% basically no change. Will go up for May as gas prices are up at highest levels ever. No end in sight. Also, the big one that no one will talk about. DEMAND for adjustable rate mortgages is up to 14 year high. You know what happened 14 years ago.

Dropped from 8.5% to 8.3% but that was before the gas price explosion the last ten days. May's numbers will be turrible.

Also as we go forward the inflation rate will steadily decrease due to it being based on the same month the previous year. Inflation started around last Summer, so high inflation as compared to high inflation gives you a low inflation number. But you are still paying more for stuff. It's just not that much higher than the high price you paid last year.

Inflation Update?
The diesel prices skyrocketing is going to make our current inflation numbers be a dream of the past. Once that bill (increased price to move goods around the country) gets passed onto consumers it’s going to get really really nasty.

Just in time for the Dems to hit “broil” mode on their constituents for riot season.

Well that's an outright light. Commodity prices, particularly corn, wheat, and soybeans are good right now. Problem is skyrocketing fertilizer, seed, and diesel.

Dems are counting on stupid people believing businesses all of a sudden just decided to raise prices for no reason at all.

The unbelievable ignorance that flows from Biden’s lips is overwhelming. Does this clown not understand Economics 101? Everything is as plain as the nose on Your face. Large corporations are not the boogey man that is the answer. Does he really believe Americans are this stupid? Oh yeah, he is so used to brain washed leftists lackeys and corporate controlled MSM running cover he believes he can say anything no matter how foolish he sounds. Intelligent thoughts left the man years ago if there ever were any. I’d fire all the writers that produce this garbage for a teleprompter.

There is a "No Trespassing. Enter at Your Own Risk" sign directly below the "State Maintenance Ends" sign at the end of the paved road leading to my farm. Anyone coming for any reason better be ready for a fight.

Inflation?

Clearly not surging.

Why? Cause a lot of places don’t have stuff to buy.

Problem solved in Looney-tune Land.

RE: Inflation Update?
Um....... Inflation is a YoY measurement. 8.3% over last April where Inflation was already ticking up... 8.3% ON TOP of last April that was already 4.2%.
