Can you define the "6 leftover conferences"?
The b-12 could go either way so I included them here as the 6th conference

The 6th conference? So who is #5? I know that you're trying to troll the Big 12 board but you're not doing a good job of it.

That still doesn't make sense.

There are 10 conferences at the FBS level.
You make a very good point, there are 10 FBs conferences but the sec and big10 might break away and do their own thing leaving 8 FBS conferences scrambling to survive

Thus the confusion.

Do you mean the 3 leftovers or the 8 leftovers?

He's thoroughly confused.

The 8 becomes the 3…then becomes the leftover 6.

If the Big 12 is #6. Who are #1-5?

The Group of Five, obviously. Also fairly evidently, not 6th as in "6th place" but 6th as in "there are already five leftover conferences, and with Texas and Oklahoma leaving, the Big12 makes it a total of six".

Six leftovers out of 10 FBS implies 4 "non-leftovers", implying the non-leftovers considered to be the B1G, SEC, ACC and PAC-12.
