He clearly had a receiver in the back corner. So you’re going to fault him for throwing seven yards short into double coverage in the general direction of a receiver who would probably be out of bounds if the ball ever did get there? Picky, picky.

Falcons have reportedly signed Logan Woodside off of Tennessee's practice squad.
This move has long been speculated dating even back to last season, as Atlanta's HC, Arthur Smith, was the Tennessee QB coach, who always seemed to be a big fan of Logan. Unsure why the signing now, if there is an injury issue, and if that means Atlanta will release one of their other QBs.

So, rumors posted earlier in the week that the Falcons plan to bench starter Marcus Mariotta, and start rookie Desmond Ridder this week, but that still doesn't really explain what Woodside's role will be.

speculating but maybe Mariotta was filler in ATL and now they are ready to turn the keys over to Ridder and want to audition Logan for the #2 job more long term. I imagine Mariotta will still be the backup this week.

Reported today that Ridder was named the starter for the rest of the season, and Mariotta has an injury and is being evaluated, but likely to go on IR, so they needed a backup. So, Logan can keep racking up the backup games, but at least in an indoor stadium this time.

And in sadder news, Tennessee reportedly released Ola Adeniyi today, after activating him off of IR before this past Sunday's game.

Isn't the magic number 5 years and then you get some sort of pension from the NFL?

NFL players must play for three seasons (must be on a team's roster for at least three games (regular season or postseason)) before they can be eligible to receive a pension. That's when he'll be considered vested. Meaning he's eligible to receive benefits negotiated under the CBA.
For each season the player plays, he earns credits. The more credits, the greater his pension amount. So, the amount NFL players make after retirement will vary.

I don't think time on practice squad counted towards vested time..looking at his profile on PFR it would appear he has 11 total career games on game day rosters (over two seasons, 2020-2021), so assuming he stays on game day ATL roster for 3 games he would be pension vested

Philly reportedly signed Kern to the practice squad. I imagine that's a roster management move, and he will get elevated to active before the next few games.
Also being reported that the Steelers are going to sign Ola.

Might want to recheck those numbers. He played more than that for just the Steelers. He played 11 games for the Titans last year. I believe he’s already vested.
time on practice squad is not same as on the game day 53 man roster
