Like in past years, he's getting a lot of positive comments on social media from the beat writers, but this year many of them are saying he may have the inside track to make one of the spots on the 53-man. Let's hope so.

Also, lots of tweets about Vitaliy Gurman being the 1st player on the field every single day at the Chiefs camp. So much, that one writer posts a running total about whether he can get to the field before Gurman. Gurman is winning 7-4.

Womack also getting noted for being the 1st or 2nd player on the field every day for the 9ers.

Bills sign Reggie Gilliam to a 2 year $5M extension. Lots of Rockets getting paid this year.

In other news, Cody Thompson started for Seattle last night, but apparently left with a shoulder injury a couple plays into the game. Boy that's too bad.

Ka'Dar Hollman had 5 tackles and 1 PBU. Tuzar Skipper had a fumble recovery. Woodside reportedly did not have a good game, throwing 2 INTs. Didn't find any reports on Tycen Anderson.

In the CFL, Rolan Milligan had an INT in Saskatchewan's win last night.

Is it me or are we a pro factory at the moment? One of my beefs with Campbel was we couldnt get guys drafted. Obviously guys him and Jason recruited like Kareem, DJ and Ola have made their marks after Campbell left the program. But what are we doing differently that our guys are getting shots and making the most of it? I think Milligan and Jayrone were the only graduated Campbell guys who have done good amount in the NFL. Now its a flowing river.

Btw: The larimer hallways with all of our NFL talent spewed accross the walls HAS to grab recruits attention. Unreal. So proud to be a Rocket.

Koback saw the field quite a bit but didn't get much of a chance to show. Had 4 carries for 9 yards, 1 catch for -2. Only one of those carries he was not stuffed at the line or avoiding tacklers in the backfield. They did set up a really nice screen for him that might have gone for big yardage, had the QB not put the ball in the ground at his feet. Worse, the two RBs ahead of him on the depth chart both had really solid performances.

Looks like the 49ers have cut Darqueze Dennard, who was slated to be the starting nickel corner this year. That removes a roadblock in front of Womack to him claiming that starting role for himself.

In other news, the Browns have cut Elijah Nkansah with an injury settlement.
