Verbal commits has him at 4 stars, Rivals has him at 3

I went back to Rivals and did find him listed as a 3 star with offers from a number of big schools. The reason I couldn't find him is he is listed in the class of 2021 and I looked for him in the class of 2022. No idea what he had been doing for the past year. Maybe injured? Taking a player with an injury history wouldn't be out of line for us. Regardless if this is the reason we got him, I agree it is worth the "risk". We still have had no "official" announcements on recruiting this spring. Hope we release something soon.

Looks like he did an extra Prep year at Westwood Christian after graduating from a high school in Ft. Lauderdale in 2021. More evidence that this staff can bring talent to Little Rock.

Not sure why Darrell won't release the names of players when we sign them. He must have a reason, but it seems like we should "shout it from the rooftops" when we sign a highly rated player. Whether Shorter is a 3 or 4 star, that is a highly rated player for the OVC or, even, the Sun Belt.
