Somewhat related. Does anyone know if this Big East-Big 12 battle will continue in future years, ala the Big10-ACC Challenge? I wouldn't think the Shootout would be part of this, but another game vs a Big East foe would be nice.

PS. Huggs going back to Cintas will be interesting.

Bolded, my guess is that TV contracted for it for a fixed number of years. That might expire, or get extended.

Doesn't the Big 12 have a similar challenge with the SEC? My preference would be for that one to continue as Wes Miller seems to have his eyes fixed on the south--recruits in Georgia and the Carolinas. And selfishly, if I'm going to an away game during winter I'd rather be road tripping to Florida or South Carolina than Omaha or Providence.
