On a side note, my biggest issue with weekday games is they effectively kill any chance to tailgate unless you and everyone you tailgate with takes a vacation day that day.

ESPN will be "Pushing" the AAC6 all year in preparation for their move to the AAC.

C-USA may get a few games somewhere on the espn family (espnU, espn2) of networks because of this-- again, just a few.

Unless something has changed, I don't think ESPN gets first pick. It is possible that UAB @ WKU was passed over by both CBS Sports Network and Stadium and fell to ESPN+ just to be raised to ESPN/2/U. But I doubt it. Last year's change for the UTSA and UTEP game happened because ESPN had the rights fall to them in preseason because it wasn't expected to be as big a game then.

You are probably right-- but I think espn will take any opportunity to promote the AAC6-- which will benefit C-USA exposure-wise for one year. They would get any game that "fell thru the cracks" for PEANUTS anyway.

I agree, I could certainly see them promoting games from the AAC6, especially if one goes on a run similar to what UTSA did last year.

I actually think a Friday game is easier to get to. Granted I’m about an hour closer than anybody in Birmingham, but it’s a straight shot and all highway. Leave work a little early Friday, and I’ll be ready to go.

Bowling Green/WKU is a great college football atmosphere. As a Blazer fan, I am looking forward to the trip. My only visit prior was a good Blazer victory when JJ Nelson took the opening kickoff to the house. Jordan Howard ran over the Hilltoppers defense.

ESPN will give it a little thought, in a similar order to this

99 percent "Who wins the National Championship"
0.8 Percent "Texas and Oklahoma joining SEC
0.15 percent "New teams joining the P5"
0.05 percent "Other G5 realignment"

clt says a Halloween game will be fun.
