Cincinnati has 7. Would not be surprised to see two more before it is done (Beavers and Brooks).

Baylor and Cincinnati? Wait, I thought the new Big 12 could recruit with schools like that, you know like Notre Dame, Clemson, Auburn, Texas and would be forced to be a tweener! 03-lmfao

In all seriousness that is more the norm not the exception. Baylor didn't recruit like that because of Texas and OU they recruited like that despite those schools coming into their backyard. Cincinnati recruited solely from the AAC as did Houston. The Big 12 will continue to be a power conference.

The incoming Big 12 teams are already feeling a significant recruiting swell... 04-bow

That really stands out to me, because LSU went 6-7 and 5-5 the past two seasons.

LSU oozes talent like shale rock oozes oil. They have it even when they aren't any good.

Texas and West Virginia on the 0 list can't sit well with their fanbases. All four schools on the 1 list are surprising. There are more Georgia draftees on the EAGLES this season than there were draftees from these six perennial college football powers.

Another way of looking at this is the average number of picks per team.
4.6 SEC 65 / 14 teams
3.4 B1G 48 / 14 teams
2.5 B12 25 / 10 teams
2.1 PAC 25 / 12 teams

And coming in at #8 was FCS conference, the MVFC at 0.7 picks per team (8 picks, 11 members).

Where did the NFL draftees play their high school football at?

California won the first round; Texas beat Georgia for the overall draft title, with California barley edging out Florida for third place overall.

RE: 2022 NFL draft results
As far as cities, I think Mobile, AL would have a claim for top city. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen before that Mobile produces the most NFL players per capita. This year just adds to that total for NFL players selected from Mobile. Incidentally enough, Mobile has more MLB hall of famers than any other city (except for NYC and Los Angeles) as well.

That's the best way to look at it.

The ACC ranks below the AAC.

Actually, a better way of looking at it is by considering when the players were drafted. A first, second or third round pick has more value than any player drafted in the 4-7 rounds.

The MAC had two players drafted in the second round and another in the third before any players from C-USA or the SBC were selected. The MAC, therefore, had a better draft than either C-USA or the SBC.

Disagree with you on WVU because they're still rebuilding from the Holgorsen fiasco, which actually turned out quite well for Houston.

Agree with you on Texas. And especially heading into the SEC soon!!! Fanbase will be demanding a very quick turnaround, IMO.
