In her defense that schedule was brutal. San Diego State, Arizona State, and Notre Dame were all tournament teams last year. San Diego State went 39-16 last year. Arizona State is usually hosting a regional in May. It's not like they played Samford/Georgia State this weekend.

Based on last year's final RPI (Tigers 190), Jacksonville should be a little easier. Start with Bethune Cookman(203) Friday at 11. Then Jacksonville(136), Cleveland St(213), North Florida(65), and Penn St(59).

You got to keep in mind this team had a .296% winning percentage last year. They went 4-38 in conference play in the past two seasons combined. In the final 11 games last year, the scored a combined 6 runs and allowed 118 runs. 8 of their last 11 games did not complete the 7 inning mark. Yes, a team that didn't have any talent gave up on Poole last year. Protho has to go through a complete culture shift. Statistics tells you everything you need to know. Ironically, Poole's new team in Southern Miss is 9-1.

I watched the Lady Tigers play NDSU today and was very obvious there is major lack of talent all the way around including pitching. They were were blow apart by NDSU today.
After the season ends the work begins to recruit at a much higher level and I feel she will be very successful.
