He will not be. What makes TB12 so great is how pocket awareness and quick release among other things. If you watched him play you would see he is the complete opposoite. He sits there and always goes for the deep ball, only to get sacked when plenty of stuff underneath was available. He will be the next Mike White. Back up and one day light up the Bengals.

How many QBs UTSA have in the league? Or Drafted? What I thought..

I don't see how that counters anything that he said, or what the number of QBs someone's school has put into the league has to do with their ability to evaluate a QB.

They may be completely wrong on their evaluation of Zappe, but UTSA's QB pedigree has nothing to do with that.

Who knows what he will be. Tom Brady was drafted in 6th round and they were saying the same thing about him. Not saying Zappe will be the next TB12 but its not like Brady was automatic Day1 when he was drafted in 6th round...Zappe drafted 2 rounds higher. Odds are Zappe will be a capable backup QB for long time in the NFL, but to say definitive statements at this stage is just as worse as saying Zappe will be Brady...

Let's be perfectly clear, Zappe is exponentially more likely to never start a game than he is to be the next Brady.

But my point is simply that what UTSA QBs have done at the next level has nothing to do with the conversation. The overwhelming majority of people didn't go to colleges that produce NFL QBs, they're still allowed to have an opinion on QBs.

Let me guess you saw Zappy, twice? Other wise you are 100% blind on they type of passes Zappy throws. Not only that but Zappy was one of the least sacked QBs and considering the number of passes he threw and Zappy not being a runner, I would bet Zappy is at the top of list for pocket passers .

Its almost sounds like you are talking about some other qb

Just in case there are any questions about the validity of this:

I honestly was wondering if another qb was being confused here too.
