The whole draft was beyond goofy. It remined me of the old Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon back in the day. The draft has jumped the shark.

The insane amount of commercials made it close to unwatchable. "PICK IS IN".. then goes to commercial break.

Hit on my soap box: Why can't we get a more intelligent and insightful sports coverage? There's some survey somewhere that indicates that 95% of sports fans want WWE to be reality. NFL pregame, Draft shows, daily ESPN, local radio are almost entirely drama. No intelligent breakdowns.

How fun would it be to have Peyton Manning, and other minds like his, breaking down film in between pick announcements?

He was a two star out of high school with just two offers, us and West Virginia. He has done very well for himself.

Packers were looking at him late in the second round before they traded both their second rounds to move up and pick up a WR.
