One more reason to give us hope that a post-season tourney ban will be off the table. His 12 year reign ends with him stepping down…before he was fired. Under his leadership a powerful organization did just about everything wrong when they had absolutely no rival but themselves.

The king is dead and the thrown will be burned. The power will not be restored.

This news broke yesterday and I was surprised it didn’t gain any traction here earlier. Hopefully as he goes, the NCAA goes.

One of the worst people in athletics - and that says a lot.
But he played the good ole boy game for 12 years - until he finally pooped the nest so much they couldn't cover for him any longer.
