UConn, Hartford & Towson
NU is back home for a key week as they are hosting #15 UConn and Hartford Tuesday and Wednesday followed by a 3-games series vs. Towson.
NU will come into the Towson series 4-8 in the CAA and need to win or even better sweep the series to at least hope to get a decent seed in the tournament.
NU lost to UConn 5-2 in 10 innings. NU had a 2-0 lead going into the 7th inning, when 3 errors allowed UConn to tie it. In the 10th, closer Thomas Balboni took the loss.

Yep top 6, so NU has a lot of work to do.
NU held on for the 3-1 win over Hartford at Friedman Diamond.
Reliever Jake Gigliotti got the win as a starter. Owen Langan picked up the save.

Sirota has a sprained MCL.
Hopefully he’ll be back for next weekend vs. UNCW. He hurt it during the first game at High Point as few weeks ago.
