Hamilton was signed by Ohio State in the 2019 recruiting class as a three-star recruit. He began his career as a tight end in his redshirt freshman year, but spent the past two seasons at defensive end for the Buckeyes. His playing time was limited across those two seasons, only playing 83 total snaps. He finishes his OSU career with six total tackles (three for loss) and two sacks.

He officially entered the transfer portal on Feb. 21, though he wasn't listed on OSU's roster a few weeks before that. The 6-foot-2, 265-pound defensive end will be reunited with former Ohio State defensive backs coach Matt Barnes, who left OSU this past season for the defensive coordinator job at Memphis.

Hamilton will have three years of eligibility remaining.

They were from whitehaven you're correct. You're talking about eason, French, and McDonald. Eason and McDonald are still there. French got in trouble went juco now at UTSA.

keveon Mullins was also on that team. Went to south Carolina and they made him fat and moved him to TE. He's at Jackson state now. There was an OL who was on that team whose name is skipping me but he went somewhere decent. Same with a wr that transferred from Lausanne. He ended up at vandy though

I don't have a list but Lincoln Pare from Houston high has been at Arkansas st. He hit the portal today

So is Hamilton coming in as a defensive player... or as a TE?
We have a shortage of quality TEs right now no?
He's be an upgrade there.
