The men's tennis team beat Ball State in the conference tournament semi-final. The Rockets will play Western Michigan in the final, which is tomorrow at 1:00pm at Western Michigan.

UT lost 3 matches in MAC play, and unfortunately 2 of them were to WMU, although the match at UT was really close. Hate to even mention how long it has been since UT won a MAC championship.

Those were the Brian Eisner coached teams that won four straight MAC titles and just dominated the league. Then Michigan swooped in and signed him. Considered by some as the best coach, regardless of sport, ever at UT.

Those were the Brian Eisner coached teams that won four straight MAC titles and just dominated the league. Then Michigan swooped in and signed him. Considered by some as the best coach, regardless of sport, ever at UT.

I was at UT then. Brian Engle and some others. They practiced next to the track so we’d see thos guys a lot. Great teams.

Eisner's brother, Dean, won three MAC #1 titles and never lost a MAC singles match.
