B1G adds Minneapolis to Hoops Tournament Rotation
https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basket...ournaments

The Target Center will now be in the immediate rotation for the B1G Basketball Tournaments in 2023 (Women's) and 2024 (Men's and Women's). Lucas Oil (Indianapolis) will keep the B1G Championship for football through 2024, but it is probable that U.S. Bank Stadium inevitably gets included in that rotation as well. Indianapolis did not bid on the Big Ten tournaments in 2024, as the city is hosting the NCAA tournament first and second rounds later that March. I would also imagine Kevin Warren had a big hand in this, given his ties to Minnesota.

I'm glad that the B1G has backed off of NYC (MSG) and D.C. as tournament sites for the next few years. It made sense at the time, given the additions of Rutgers and Maryland, but to have either site be a part of the regular rotation seems illogical (unless more Eastern teams are added down the road).

Minneapolis should be a strong host site. I was surprised they weren't involved earlier (although having a Chicago/Indianapolis combo was tough to top).
