Jonathan Komagum back in transfer portal
Komagum started ar C all season at Sacramento. He didn't score much but seemed to have a good season rebounding and on defense. Sacramento has recently picked up a couple transfer big men and now Jonathan is back in the transfer portal.

I thought a player can only "portal" once (immediate eligibility). Next transfer is a 1 year sit-out.

Is that true or not. Otherwise a player can move up to 5 times with a RS.

I have no idea how that all works. Perhaps, like Tyler Cochran, he will need a waiver to be eligible this coming season.

Technically twice without needing a waiver/burning a year...you had a free Covid transfer that someone could've used after the Covid season as long as they were enrolled and rostered during the '20-'21 season and then a standard free transfer that everyone is allowed.

You need a waiver to play immediately after the 2nd (or moreth) transfer. If your a grad transfer (which he likely is), the waiver rules are different, and easier to get I think. Not completely sure, but I think it can be a simple as the current school doesn't have the graduate program I want to pursue. The NCAA was supposedly cracking down on waivers for non-grad transfers starting like last year, but we will see if that holds up.

I don't know if TK would be looking at him for help. He needs some kind of scorer.
