They are student-athletes, so you really shouldn’t be yanking a kid outside of behavioral issues.

And these are really false dichotomies. Tyler was a walk on. He’s not taking anyone else’s spot.

How are Jayden, Lomax, and Dandridge not in this equation?

I will always be against pushing players out. I didnt like it with Cal, I dont like it now.

Anyone who believes that garbage needs to seriously take a step back and think things through. It’s as simple as Harris isn’t going to start due to the likelihood that the #1 rated player in the portal is going to be a Tiger and start, along with Bates. Would you rather Harris start or us get Davis and hand the ball to him? It’s simple. I feel confident that Penny offered Harris a role on the team that would be coming off the bench. His family got irked and took their ball and left.

I appreciate what Tyler brought to the team this past season. Hate it if he is truly being “pushed out”. I wish him well in the future.

Whole new team…? What does that mean for the East High gang? In this “Wild West” environment we now have in college sports with player free agency, not to mention extra Covid years, are they also all gone? What’s to become of them? It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. I just hope Penny has his roster set well before the start of practice next season, so that maybe we don’t have the disastrous slow, unorganized start we have had the last couple of years.
