Marshall picks up transfer Kamdyn Curfman from VMI. He will have 2 years of eligibility. He averaged 40% from the 3pt line last year and has over 1000 points already in his career. I hope this is a big get for The Herd!

I'm glad we got him, but I think too many are fooling themselves if they think this one player is going to make that much of a difference. We really needed to clean house and bring in at least 2 transfers, with 3 being more realistic. I wish him well, and hope he's a great player for us.

I agree but a true point guard isn't going to hurt. We haven't had one since 2019. West was not a PG and was best as shooting guard when Elmore got him the rock. AT doesn't have that knack for developing the floor and is timid. We need a PG that, when committed to driving, the only option is to foul him. Elmore was very good at that. He got to the line a lot.

Unfortunately, I believe it will take more than that. I feel a true PG is necessary.

Our biggest need was an aggressive big, imo.

Actually our biggest need was to go an another direction entirely with a new coaching staff. Failing in that, we had a few holes to fill, and certainly a big aggressive big was one of those holes.
