RE: BK: Jack Be Nimble
Good luck to Bayou Brian. Best wishes.

I graduated from LSU Law School and lived in Baton Rouge for 36 years. I know Tigah fans, and they will tear that Boston Lace Curtain Mick to shreds if he doesn't win BIG (I mean, beat Alabama and win NC's big) there.

He is the worst cultural fit imaginable in South Louisiana and only winning that big will keep him employed there for more than 3-4 years.

Otherwise, his personality and commentary will grate on the last nerve of everyone from the big donors in the Tiger Athletic Foundation down to every patron at Pastime Lounge.

(There is a reason that very few of his assistants followed Buckskin Brian down to Cancer Alley despite the LSU AD throwing big money offers at them to do so)

They will toss his carcass into the cage for Mike The Tiger to feast upon if he isn't NC caliber there and soon.

Kelly is a good CEO type head coach and he should win plenty of games at LSU. The question will be whether he wins enough and wins the big games there.

I liked that ND went 54-9 the past five years under Kelly and thought he (and ND) didn't get enough credit for that, but he really needs to concentrate on beating Alabama, Georgia and Texas A&M instead of feuding with ND on social and sports media.

Do you notice that it is all entirely one sided, always initiated by Kelly ? Why is that? He is the one who voluntarily left ND for a ten year, $95 million dollar LSU deal.

Shouldn't he be happy instead of griping and jabbing? Shouldn't he have put ND in his Good Riddance rear view mirror?

Could it be that Swarbrick wasn't going to extend his contract again after doing so several times after being extorted and blackmailed by Kelly sniffing other jobs every year?

Could it be that after 12 years that Kelly had worn out his welcome at ND, despite winning a lot?

ND has quickly moved on but Kelly seems unable to do so, for some internal reason.

IF ND recruits better (it is) and wins more (time will tell) under Freeman than under Big Game Brian, what will he and others say then?

It is no stretch to think that old guys like Swarbrick and Jenkins will retire soon, but shouldn't Brian concentrate on working hard at recruiting (that would be a big change, a number of ND recruits say him leaving was irrelevant because they had no relationship with him) instead of worrying and interviewing and posting about ND?
