Serious knee injury. What a shame.

That just sucks. He will work his way back but it’s going to be the hard way. I thought he may go round 5-6. Now after a year of rehab it will definitely be FA. Good luck Rat

RE: RatDog injured in GB workout
I am assuming, but nothing if for certain, that there is some kind of medical coverage that kids can get for tryouts. Or if the Packers or Pro team's insurance covers tryouts. Wouldn't be fair for the kid to not only find out that his career is in jeopardy before the draft, but he starts life with a huge medical bill or a huge deductible.
Praying for the best.

This hit me in the gut.

All the work he puts in and then this.

Wishing Rat Dog a speedy recovery. If anybody can it’s him.

Awful. He had a good chance to make it.
We only had him for a year but he was fun to watch.

If he were the featured back, no doubt in my mind he runs for 1800 and catches for 500. Dude is a stud.

RE: RatDog injured in GB workout
This just really sucks----here was a "truly draftable" Huskie that would/could have found a niche in the NFL. I know we all fall in love with "our" guys but he really had a chance---much more of an "NFL" player than Lynch or Lurry, etc ever profiled to.

Hopefully he can recover, but blown knees are not good for NFL running backs.

He was a positive team player and a hard worker. If he can't get to the NFL and wants to stay around football, it would be nice to see him come back to NIU as a coach some day.
